In these terms and conditions ‘Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd’ means a company registered in England and the ‘Hirer’ means the person or persons who hire the vehicle from Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd under these terms and conditions.
Cleaning Fee
We charge a cleaning fee of £25 on all bookings.
Pick up and Return
Collection of the campervan must be no earlier then 6:30pm on the departure date unless prior arrangement has been made. This is due to insurance purposes and a tight schedule of cleaning and preparing the campervan to a high standard. Return of the camper must be no later than 6:30pm on return date. You will be charged for a late return

Driving Stipulations
Please note drivers must be between the age of 25-75 years old and must hold a full UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand license with at least 2 years driving experience. Certain driving offenses are not covered and you must have no more than 1 fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last 3 years
We require the following 2 weeks prior to the departure date :
∙ Copy of your photo driving license
∙ Online DVLA license check www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence (This can only be carried out on driving license issued from the UK. After you have entered your details you will need to go to the ‘Get Your Check Code’ tab, then click on ‘Get a Code’ box. Save the Driving Summary and return this back to us to confirm driving status.)
∙ Proof of address from two separate sources (Electric/Gas Bill, Council Tax, Broadband, Mobile Phone Bill, TV Licence, etc) They must show the correct address and match your driving license and dated within the last 90 days.
∙ Security Bond of £500 on day of collection is to be paid via a traceable source I.E PayPal or Bank Transfer.
You are responsible for any motoring offences during your hire and we have an obligation to pass on your details to the DVLA once we have been informed by the authorities.
Only the named driver can drive the campervan. Additional drivers can be added at £10 per day up to a maximum of £70, this must be added prior to collection date with the same ID requirements and driver checks carried out.
Driving within the UK’s standard within our policy. We do allow travel within the EU with a supplement EU driving insurance of £10 per day up to a maximum of £70 to be agreed prior to departure date as additional paperwork is required.
Accidents / Damages
Any accident involving our van regardless of fault must be reported to us and the relevant police authority as soon as is reasonably possible. You must not admit guilt or liability.
The accident must be reported immediately to the phone number provided at the point of the hire. An accident report must be completed and handed into Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd on return of the campervan. Names, addresses, insurance details and vehicle information of all third parties must be obtained at the time of the accident and the best efforts must be made to obtain any names and addresses of any witnesses.
The hirer must not abandon the campervan without taking adequate steps to prevent further damage, loss or contravention of traffic regulations.
Every effort is made to ensure the campervan is in a safe roadworthy condition before it leaves the premises, but Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd will be under no liability for third party claims or damages arising in the connection with, or as a consequence of any breakdown accident.
Excess
A £1000 Excess is payable in the result of an insurance claim due to any damage to the campervan.
Not Covered By Insurance
Toilet Hire
We offer as an extra the use of a Porter Potti to hire out at a charge. The toilet must be returned cleaned and emptied otherwise there will be an additional surcharge of £50 for cleaning.
Security Deposit
A security bond of £500 will be payable on day of the collection of your camper van. This will be refunded back to you via the original payment method within 24 hours providing the campervan is brough back is the same condition as it was and the T&C’s are met.
Fuel
Our fuel policy is a full tank out and a full tank back. There will be a full tank of diesel in the campervan on the day of departure. We ask that your return the camper back to us with a full tank of diesel. There is a petrol station close to our premises which is easily accessible. Failure to return the campervan without a full tank of diesel this will result in a charge of missing fuel along side a surcharge of £25.
Booking
When a booking is made using our online booking system, the hirer will receive a system generated booking summary. This does not constitute a booking and contract between the hirer and Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd. A confirmed booking and contract will only be binding when a subsequent email confirming the required booking has been sent to the hirer.
To secure the rental of the campervan for the requested rental period, a deposit is required of 25% of the total cost which must be paid at the time of the booking.
Two weeks prior to your departure date the remaining balance must be paid, where bookings are made within two weeks of your departure date the full rental amount must be paid at the time of the booking.
If the balance is not received 14 days prior to departure date of your rental, Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled. The campervan will not be released before payment and receipt by Snug Dubs Campers Ltd of the full rental cost.

Tolls & Additional Charges
Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd have an account set up with Dartford Crossing to cover toll charges. The Hirer will be invoiced upon return of the campervan to pay such charges. Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd do not cover any additional fees and or charges including ULEZ, Congestion Charge and any other road tolls. This is to be paid by the Hirer.
Cancellation Policy
Within 1 day prior to departure 100% rental fee is payable.
Within 1 week prior to departure 80% rental fee is payable.
Within 2 weeks prior to departure 60% rental fee is payable.
Within 6 weeks prior to departure 40 % rental fee is payable.
Within 10 weeks prior to departure 30% rental fee is payable.
More than 10 weeks prior to departure 20% rental fee is payable.
Travel Insurance
Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd recommend that you take out separate travel insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure that the travel insurance you purchase is adequate to your particular needs. We do not check travel insurance policies.
Personal belongings are not covered under our insurance.
Child Seats
United Kingdom regulations govern the use of child car seats requiring every child travelling in the campervan to be seated using specified restraints in all circumstances where the child under 135cm or 12 years of age. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that necessary child seats are used in the campervan if carrying children.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the campervan. A breach of these conditions will incur a £100 surcharged.
Pets
We appreciate that your four legged friends are part of the family, that’s why in our campervan we allow dogs at no additional cost or cleaning fee.
Mileage
We offer an unlimited millage policy.
Availability
Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd will always endeavour to ensure that the campervan which has been booked is available at the agreed date and time. Occasionally, the campervan may be returned damaged. If this occurs and the damaged is beyond our repair we may need to cancel your booking. We will refund all monies due, the hirer will have no claims against Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd and the liability of Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd will be limited to the refund of monies paid only.
Limitation Of Liabilities
Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd accept no liability for replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential loss claims arising from the breakdown of the Vehicle, fair wear and tear excepted, or any accident or other such related causes. Snug Dubs Camper Hire Ltd will not be liable for any costs and expenses incurred for speeding, parking fines, congestion charges and for any other offences committed against the Road Traffic Act or traffic regulations or otherwise.
The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the costs of repair and or replacement as necessary in relation to damage to windscreen, tyres and punctures.
